Cited is run by Richard Patey, based in Slovakia, who is the data controller for this site. Questions or requests: hello@cited.page.

What we collect

• Free audit: your website, business category and email address.
• Customers: your name, email and billing details (handled by Stripe, we never see full card numbers), plus what you send us during onboarding: website, industry, competitors, logo and notes.
• Analytics: page views counted by Plausible, which doesn't use cookies or collect personal data.

Why

• To run and send your audit, and to follow up about it. Legal basis: legitimate interest, or your consent where required. Every follow-up email has an unsubscribe link.
• To deliver your plan and bill you. Legal basis: contract.
• To keep records the law requires, such as invoices.

Who processes it

• Netlify (hosting)
• Supabase (database)
• Stripe (payments)
• Resend (email delivery)
• Plausible (cookie-free analytics)
• AI platforms we query for audits receive your website and category, never your email

Some of these process data outside the EU and UK under standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Audit leads: up to two years after our last contact, or until you ask us to delete them. Customer records: as long as you're a customer, then as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, or for us to stop emailing you. Email hello@cited.page. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Cookies

This site doesn't set tracking cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages.
